Description:	Michelle and I opened Chad’s on March 31, 1992, with high hopes and dreams. Our first two years were trying times, but thanks in part to many members of the local community, Chad’s has succeeded in a town known for its restaurant failures. It was our goal from the start to provide the best product, service and drinks possible. We will never be one to say we are the best, however we always strive to be just that. As the owners we would like to invite you to come in and enjoy this restaurant as much as we have through these years. We know you’ll feel right at home. When Chad's first opened it was the best place in town. It was the first place that I would choose for special occasions or when I had out of town guests. Sadly, the place has gone downhill over the years. My guess is that as Chad's attention became split between other ventures, less attention was paid to the food at Chad's.

The menu is excellent but the day to day quality of the food that was served became spotty. It's still very good on its worst day but it used to be excellent every time.

Another reason that I rarely frequent Chad's these days is that it has developed a very lame happy hour/bar scene. It has gone from a very "Local's Only" atmosphere to something where if you didn't know better you would think you were transformed to Los Angeles.

For the money, there are much better places to go in town now.
